LAHORE: According to the intelligence reports, an Afghan suicide bomber has entered Pakistan to conduct terror activity, leading to increase of police security across the Punjab province.
A photo of potential suicide bomber has been released by security officials, identified as Talha, a member of banned terror outfit ‘Jamat-ul-Ahrar’.
The report further stated that a few days ago, the native of Khost province of Afghanistan entered Pakistan through Kurram Agency.
According to the report, the key government institutions can be the targets. However, the security measures have been revisited and possible loops in security are being addressed. Furthermore, police is conducting joint operations with paramilitary forces to track and hunt suspects in major cities.
