ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior h as forwarded a letter to the P akistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to suspend cellular services i n Islamabad on the occasion of Independence Day.
The mobile phone servic es will remain suspended for six hours from 6:00am till 12:00pm on Sunday as part of the security measures for Independence Day celebrations in the federal capital.
The government has implemented s imilar servic e suspensions in the past to avert any untoward incident.
